How To Get Free Organic Goodies

Do you want to eat healthier and buy more organic food, but you’re not sure what to get or if you’ll like it? That’s me. I know organic food is better for me and my family. But I also live on a budget and absolutely hate to throw out food (and money). So I love sampling products first to make sure we’ll like them.

Keep The Memories, Recycle The Paper

As a mom, I want to encourage my kids to be artistic, think outside the box and dream big dreams. And when they express those dreams on paper I love it and I want to keep every piece of it. Forever. But I can’t take the 10 pounds of clutter that has created over the past 8 years.

Thank goodness for technology. I recently started using the Keepy app, where you can capture and store your kids’ artwork, share it with family and friends and turn it into long lasting memories. (more…)

Memory Keepers

I’m a total picture junky. As soon as something happens or I see something beautiful I reach for my phone. So much so, that sometimes I have to force myself to stay in the moment. And I used to print a lot of pictures, carefully placing them in photo albums so I could pull them off the shelf at any time and gaze upon my sweet babies’ faces. But guess what, I never pulled them off the shelf. They only collected dust. And worst of all, it cost a ton of money.

Now I rarely print any photos unless they’re special ones that I want to blow up and frame. Yet I always have all my photos at my fingertips, hundreds, maybe even thousands of them. It’s because there are so many awesome ways now to save and showcase photos on social media – for free- and in digital albums – for cheap-. (more…)

Hidden Home Office

When you downsize from a two-story house to a ranch without a guest room, you need to come up with new ways to create functional spaces.

The problem – I had no place to work, print coupons or keep important papers.

The solution – turn a corner of our ridiculously big master closet into a makeshift office. (more…)
