Make Your Own Candles

I can think of few things that make a home more cozy, comfortable and pleasant than candles. I always have some burning in the evening and I love the seasonal scents. They also make great gifts for family, friends and kids’ teachers. The problem is they are usually really expensive. I love Yankee Candles but can’t afford them. The few I’ve had and cherished were gifts.

Frugal Mom’s Guide To After-Holiday Shopping

I love holidays. Who doesn’t, right? But you wanna know a secret? The after-holiday shopping may even thrill me more than the actual holiday. Shhhh, don’t tell anyone. I think it’s because I’m always on the hunt for a bargain. I think I might actually be allergic to paying full price for anything. It makes me itchy.
