I did something crazy the other day. Something I don’t do very often. I washed and fixed my hair.
I know, I know… it’s a little extravagant. And it wasn’t even a special occasion.
And as a result, I had to take a selfie… or two… after I dropped the kids off at school. I mean rare occurrences need to be documented, right?
I joke. But seriously, this is rare and it’s rare for a lot of moms. You get into the day-to-day chores, errands, duties and on and on and you stop one day and think, ‘When is the last time I did my hair… or put on a nice outfit… or watched a movie that wasn’t animated?’
And I know the term ‘self-care’ is used a lot. But that’s because it’s important. And even if you have to force yourself to do it, making yourself look nice or doing something that you really enjoy (without the kids) will enrich you on the inside so that you can better care for your little humans.
And as a frugal mom, I’m so glad self-care doesn’t have to cost a lot of money. It can really be as simple and cheap as washing and fixing your hair. And right now Publix is making that even cheaper.
I am really happy to work with my sponsor, Procter & Gamble, to share this information with you. All opinions are authentic and my own.
Starting today (5/5) Publix has a coupon for $2 off two Herbal Essences Shampoo & Conditioners
You can combine that with an Ibotta offer that gives you $1 back for each bottle!
