Of course, I wait until the last minute to make a treat to take to a holiday party. The day of the party. 🤦♀️ But never fear, if you’re a procrastinator like me, I have a go-to holiday treat that is super easy and budget-friendly. And I should mention it’s the yummiest thing ever and you can make it dozens of different ways. Can it get any better?!
It’s chocolate bark. Here are the super quick and easy steps and five delicious combinations.

How To Make
1- Melt chocolate chips
I always use dark chocolate. One, because it’s a little better for you. And two, I like the bitter taste to balance out all the sweetness I pile on top.

Microwave the chocolate chips for one minute, stir, then microwave for another 30 seconds.

To fill a standard baking sheet pan I used two 10 oz. bags of dark chocolate chips.
2- Spread melted chocolate in pan lined with parchment paper
You can make it as thin or as thick as you want. A good rule of thumb is about a quarter inch thick.

3- Layer on your toppings
You can layer on your toppings as thin or thick as you like. I like to really load mine up! Make sure you pat the toppings down into the chocolate so they will stick to it.

4- Chill in fridge for at least one hour

5- Break apart
