Traditional
This set of traditional natural wood ornaments is one of my favorites. They fit easily into farmhouse, boho, or natural holiday decor, and the style is timeless.

Rae Dunn Inspired
This set was made with a fun, Rae Dunn inspired font with large words for a more playful style.

For the Adventure Seeker
I made this set for my sister who is a world traveler. This shows how much fun you can have personalizing wood ornaments for your own style and hobbies.

For Harry Potter Fans
This set is my personal favorite because I am a huge Harry Potter fan.

Silhouettes
You can also experiment with silhouette images. After making gift sets of these wood ornaments for my friends and family, I decided to make a set for myself.
For mine I chose these beautiful bird silhouettes and used a glittery material.

How To Make Personalized Natural Wood Christmas Ornaments
The great thing about making these ornaments is that it’s super easy with a few steps.
1- Wood base
I went the low fuss route and bought these round wood pieces that already had a hole drilled in the top for easy hanging. These are the ones I used.
2- Cut the design on Heat Transfer Vinyl with a Cricut or Silhouette
3- Press it onto the wood with a heat press or iron

4- Hang it
You can use lots of different types of string or ribbon to hang your ornament depending on the style you’re going for. To give mine a more festive look I used bright colored ribbon.
But I also often use jute string. I have a couple of giant rolls of it and use it in a lot of different DIY projects.
